No, you're not out of touch but much of middle America is. I've been asking myself the very same question these past few days and I think that we must not give up but rather plan better and work harder in the next election. We will have our day as Americans will eventually want to move beyond hate and war and back toward hope and prosperity in the future. As Lydon Johnson said it best, "Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or to lose."
