Thanksgiving is over and I am now back at school. I have not posted much lately, mostly because I have had little to pontificate about or because I was away from the computer. Thanksgiving provided me with the necessary relaxation I believe I need to finish the semester, in part because I mostly just ate a lot of turkey and hung out and watched movies. No offense to my friends- but I also made no effort to "go out," as many people do over the short break, as I think it only would have tired me out.
During the time off though I began to think about exams inevitably. My high school had college style exams, which while stressful, was very good preperation for my future in academia as I am now 24 and have been taking exams for about the past 10 years now if you count the LSATs in my year off from school. As much as I hate exams, there are some things I like about the exam-time period. In many respects it is like a battle-mode that students get into. It's a period of put-up or shut-up. Time to quit your yapping in class and see if you really have the answers to important questions.
I promise that this next month until my final exam on December 23rd will likely have some great observations so get ready.
